3/2/22
Outdoor Spring Break activities are available for students of all ages at Riverbend Park.
PADDLE!
A kayak or canoe trip on the shimmering waters of the Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River is a fantastic way for students to learn about nature and have a fun time.
After explaining safety and paddling instructions, JUPITER OUTDOOR CENTER guides will show paddlers tropical plants such as swamp lillies, native animals like turtles and maybe even a ‘gator or two.
Daylong and shorter tours are available. Paddlers can also go out on their own at Riverbend Park.

After passing through picturesque Burt Reynolds Park, you can head over to Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street for a snack and beverage.
Or keep walking and make a stop at DuBois Park. Check Out the DuBois Pioneer Home, shipwreck statue and the kiddie pool — a popular, life-guarded swimming area on the Jupiter Inlet.

CLIMB!
It’s about 150 steps to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse — and worth it!
The breeze, the serenity, the turquoise-blue Atlantic Ocean mixing the iced-tea red waters of the Loxahatchee River — first-timers are breathless when they step out onto the top.
There’s no better way to understand why local residents are adamant about keeping Jupiter Jupiter than seeing the waterways, the ocean, the mangroves and the folks on and in the water from atop the historic lighthouse.
