Camps & Youth Programs
The Jupiter Outdoor Center takes pride in our ability to get kids out from behind the glow of televisions and computer screens and into our natural environment. Our different camps and youth programs offer young children and adventurous teens an experience like no other.
Our programs focus on paddlesports like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, but also enliven kids’ senses through outdoor exploration, survival skills, fishing, snorkeling and a multitude of other outdoor experiences. Our dedicated staff and low camper to counselor ratio (6:1) will ensure your kids are safe, engaged, excited, learning and most importantly, having fun!
Summer Camp 2025
Join us for an unforgettable Summer Camp 2025 along the wild and scenic Loxahatchee River! This camp is packed with outdoor adventures, including, kayaking, biking, Archery 101, fishing, hiking, survival skills, and other exciting activities that connect participants with nature. It’s the perfect way for kids to explore, learn, and create lasting memories in the great outdoors.
NOW OFFERING Equestrian Day Add-On – $69 per Camper
Enhance your child’s Summer Camp experience with our Equestrian Day Add-On! Campers will have the unique opportunity to learn about horseback riding, build confidence, and create unforgettable memories with our gentle and well-trained horses.
Each camper will participate in a structured riding session that includes:

✔️ 30-minute guided ride
✔️ Dismount, Q&A, and social time with the horses

A Day in Camp
Summer Camp takes place exclusively at Riverbend Park from Monday through Friday. Each day, campers participate in a variety of activities, which may include kayaking or canoeing, water activities, Archery 101 (for ages 8 and up), biking, fishing, hiking, survival skills, or eco-education programs. These activities provide hands-on experiences that foster teamwork, confidence, and a connection with nature.
Summer Camp 2025
Summer Camp 2025 offers an expanded adventure experience at Riverbend Park and the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (JILONA). Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, campers will enjoy all the incredible outdoor activities at Riverbend, such as paddling, biking, archery, fishing, hiking, and survival skills. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the fun continues at JILONA, where participants will paddleboard, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and climb the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse. This unique blend of activities ensures a summer filled with exploration, excitement, and discovery!
A Day in Camp
Summer Camp operates across two locations—Riverbend Park and the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (JILONA). The weekly schedule is as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Campers are at Riverbend Park, where they engage in activities such as kayaking or canoeing, Water activities, Archery 101 (8+), biking, fishing, hiking, survival skills, and eco-education.
- Tuesday and Thursday: Campers are at JILONA, where they have the opportunity to learn how to paddleboard, snorkel, and climb the historic Jupiter Lighthouse (48″ tall )
